FIFO (Fly In-Fly Out) Counselling Service

Today, you are one step closer to a happy family life and career.

Couples, families, and individuals can experience many difficulties because of the nature of the work, rosters, separation and feelings of isolation. I have been working with FIFO couples and individuals for a number of years helping them work through issues around relationships, family life and their FIFO career. It is so important to be mindful and aware of when cracks begin to appear. It can provide an opportunity to become more creative in how your situation can improve with a sustainable outcome versus a quick fix.

Bottom line is to ensure that you are able to seize great opportunities that come your way, whilst also having a fantastic family life. A great balance! While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life to work toward a great future.

I work with families, and couples who are on rosters, such as 2:1, 3:1, 2:2, 4, 4:, 12 days:9 days etc. Some workers take many hours travelling time to get to and from site, Eastern States to far North of WA, and some workers are coming from as far away as New Zealand and beyond. This means that a great part of time ‘off’ is taken up travelling, and leaves a person drained and needing rest, rather than just trying to jump back into home life and domestic duties.
